I think if you have reached the stage of thinking about kidnapping and killing someone the deterrent isn't going to stop someone that far down the path in their mind. Then again it might do but I suppose it's hard to measure how many crimes haven't been committed unless you survey everyone and they're honest. I appreciate the deterrent argument for other offences but everyone knows if you kill and get caught you aren't getting a slap on the wrist and go do some community service litter picking tripe. That's why I think the horrible truth is there for those who want change, you can change people's attitudes and those who care already to think a bit more but what can you do to stop someone killing? Especially someone who hasn't done it before. Same as people attacking people in the street with knives, you cant stop it, why they do it. All reactionary. Such a sad realism but a realism nonetheless. Doesn't soften the blow for victims but asking responsible people to act responsibly won't stop the irresponsible
On a dark night ,I wouldn't like to meet some of the women Ive seen fighting off 4 policemen in London,
Should do the same over here .
You can do want you want but you will not stop these crimes. If someone is going to kill/rape then there's not a lot you can do.
Hang them, ? yeah, but people will still do it. They do it all over the world.
Taking the knee won't stop racism no matter how long people support it or draw attention to it.
Have we stopped bullying at school yet............???
These women in London should have respect for her and the family not dragging in up in the news again. Some of them weren't there for a peaceful rally, but you get them at all protests.
