It is noticeable that, out of the managers near the relegation zone, its those of the 'bigger' clubs that are showing the signs of being under pressure!!
Karanka's already gone, Big Dave is on a hiding to nothing with that shower at S6 and Rooney is sounding increasingly desperate. My advice to him would be to concentrate on you're own teams failings on the pitch and leave us to manage our own problems.

I'm glad we don't here Warniola moaning to the press about the fixture congestion, fatigue, player welfare, etc. Although this would be reasonable & understandable, especially when the EFL said at the start of this 'contracted' season, that player welfare would need to be considered more than in the past.

Yes I think that's a very accurate view

Just to pick up on Gainsboro's points about our relegation rivals sounding off, it's noticeable that Coventry are silent on this matter and are again maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
I'm not talking about their fans here but their Manager Mark Robins and the owners. They did this during the PPG promotion debate and actually made no comment at all to my knowledge .
I think Mr Robins is intelligent enough to know that these postponements and virus issues are to our disadvantage and it's probably expected that Mr Rooney and Karanka can't work that out for themselves

My guess is that they are laying down a marker.

Yes it effects us. But, also, you dont need the be the brightest to realise playing some teams earlier in the season is different to later on when league positions could already have been decided.

Yes it can work like that Wan but I posted an opinion about 2 weeks ago whereby I think it can sometimes be more difficult to play against teams who seemingly have nothing to play for.

Some players might be wanting a new contract and will try to impress their current club or a rival, some want to try and get into the playoff starting XI and other players just play without fear and put on a really good show

Instead he rants on about wanting the FL to investigate RUFC and their current backlog.

''It's strange the amount of times Rotherham are picking up the virus''.

''They seem to keep picking up this virus and cancelling games and I don't know when they are going to fit them all in''

He's worried we'll have an advantage playing teams who may have little to play for.

''You hope the teams who are safe or not going for promotion, teams in the middle of the table, are going to field their strongest teams. If not, it'll be an advantage to them, which is something they may have looked into''.

I think Tony Stewart needs to get our club legal representatives onto this and have Rooney explain himself to the Football League with such an outlandish slur and accusation. Does he not realise just how many of our players and Management have come down with this possible life threatening disease!

This sounds like another desperate Manager attempting to deflect HIS poor performance and results of late. Talk about desperation, the man's an idiot and a fool for using such a crass statement accusing RUFC of underhanded skullduggery.
Where does it say this Brin? Can’t find anything on the Derby sites.

I dont disagree with that. But it could be spun either way.

You cannot dismiss the concerns of Derby and Birm as rantings of madmen. We might not like it but they have a point.

It’s happened before where teams have paid the price with fixture congestion, I think it’s a disadvantage and could be our downfall

My mum used to say empty vessels make most noise

That apart I think the majority of our fans would like a better explanation than the one we’ve been given.

Most will be thinking to themselves “what the hell is happening?”
