What an atmosphere , what a game, what a performance. So glad I was there to see it.

Jeezuz Christ is it really 38 years, where the hell has the time gone and flown by.
Aye, that was without a doubt the best atmosphere I have experienced at pittodrie ever. The bounce when Hewitt scored the 3rd was fkn amazing, as we were actually all still celebrating the equalizer then all of a sudden we were in the lead and everybody just going mental jumping about huggin and kissin total strangers was brilliant.
Aye there was no covid restrictions on the go in them days.

Happy to be an old fart and have these fantastic memories.

Yes it was some night. Best atmosphere I have ever witnessed at Pittodrie. My head was buzzing. Don't think I slept a wink that night. Great memories.

Old five pence pieces the same size as a Deutsch Mark worked a treat in vending machines .
Best night at Pittodrie amongst many great nights in those days. Seem to (vaguely) remember a lockin in The Charlotte afterwards? The old 5ps worked in Hamburg too would only be Aberdonians jammed a dozen to a booth in the Reeperbhan even though it was only 5 pence!

I'm still annoyed that I couldn't get a ticket for that game.

How many priority points did you need for phase 1?

Being too young is no excuse.
Real Dons fans were in their early twenties when these games were being played.

There was a young Conservatives meeting that the game clashed with.
