Why is it that cats always dump in somebody else's garden and never their own?

Having a dog keeps you fit as they have to be walked and they are so attentive. Another plus is I doubt anyone unwelcome would get in the house, if you know what I mean, though our current one, like the last one, would probably kill them with excitement and love. (I know I said a couple of years ago after losing our so loved 13 year old boxer I couldn’t do it again, well I did, a red boxer this time. There is a long story of how we got him, unusual in a few ways, perhaps a story for another time) We have had many times been gardening and have plunged our hands into a cat dump and god it stinks and you can’t get rid of the smell on you hand etc. easily. The fact cats sometimes bury their poo is perhaps worse than if they didn’t.

A dog does not go into other people gardens to take a poo unlike cats, as humans don’t, well most don’t I guess.

Back to topic. I guess the one creature I dislike is a rat. They don’t really scare me I just dislike them due to their urinary habit which spreads disease.

Thing is, many animals are better than many humans.
It’s a sad state of affairs when a dog is your reason for exercise.

It would be if it was the only reason I guess, but self respect and the love of a good family also makes me keep myself fit. I will retire this year and have plenty to keep me occupied and as I am a couple of years away from the official retirement date I will certainly be aware that keeping fit will be even more important.

Not really an animal. Spiders. My schizophrenic mother used to scream so loud and even now when I see a spider I get a real freeze down my back because I hear the screams.

Always had a fear of the animals at Cold Blow Lane. Been down there a few times and panic used to set in until your car was cruising away in fourth gear!

Bears have always filled me with dread since I was a kid. The Ravine in Dudley Zoo I always found cold and creepy.
    Bears eat you alive.
I have a phobia of caterpillars since I was very young and saw a warmweather curled up at my Aunt's house.
I thought it was a bit of my cousin Freddie's hair until it uncoiled and stated walking.
It came as a great shock and I still don't like looking at them.

Not really scared of any animals, they do their thing in their own environments. That’s said I would t want to be in the same environment as anything that would like me for lunch!
Re pets, as a kid we always had cats and I could never understand what people saw in dogs, my wife always had a dog as a kid and we ended up with a schnauzer called Bella 7 years ago, she is the first at the door when I come in, is always happy to see me and is the best burglar alarm you could wish for, I really have an attachment with her and can sense she likes being around me and the family and as far as loyalty goes they don’t call them mans best friend for nothing.

We have a Staffie, when we lived in West Brom. she used to sit on the back of an armchair in the front window, there were several break-ins in the area so we decided to get the police in for advice, when they arrived they said you don't need an alarm with a Staffie sitting there, no one will attempt to violate your property
