    Agreed!

I would also make the case that Harry Redknapp is in there now.

Think Hodgson has to be in there.

And I know lots of people think he's a cuddly, avuncular, elder-statesman of football type figure.

    I don't.

    I think he's a twat.
You could almost call him "one of the nicer ****s"

disagree there Mon Amigo, did a decent job at Everton with limited resources, yes he failed at Manure ( stars and all that)but with the smallest cadre in the Prem we are punching pretty high under him, plus our owners are as bad as yours!!

    Aye....

....agree he did well at Everton and Preston SE to a degree. Every one of these old boys has had their time in the sun that gets them started on the old boys Merry go Round to start with but it goes down hill from there.

But noone can deny that he bombed at Man U, Sunderland and Real Sociedad - no arguement there.however he has surprised at the Hammers, I admit - maybe thats his level, working at a budget punching above his weight - time will tell. Maybe for now I will move Moyes into the waiting room of the old boy network cnt clinic.

I'll maybe add Pulis in his stead.

    Alan Curbishley?

He was always getting jobs and always getting linked.

Less so these days but does he still count?

Yes, he’s the quintessential dinosaur manager!

    Good call, Jammy.

I don’t know if I would add Mick McCarthy to the list. But I probably would. Even if he’s Irish.

    Ian Holloway.
John Terry ( on his way ) - the new wave of old crooks.
