Richard Wood has cost us a place in the championship.

    3 points against Millwall
    3 points against Wycombe

A bit of an exaggeration, probably due to your well publicised dislike for RW. For us to get more than 1pt against either of these teams we would have had to score a goal and we didn't so maybe at a stretch it is fair to say he cost us 1pt against Millwall but not the other 5.

Think he has been partly responsible for some losses but i think we have gained more points with him on the side than out of it.

Been a good servant but should have been replaced by now. Did I miss something at Millwall, wasn't he done for speed leading to his sending off.

....classic! The same Woody who helped us with his goal, that helped us get 3 points at Bristol City......(shakes head smiling)

Yes but it was 0 - 0 at the time so we lost a point, there was no guarantee of it being 3 at that stage

We will never stay up with farmers playing at centre half in the championship.

We need players who can actually control a football.

That's at least 3 of the back 5 going then.

    Hope so Brin.

Ball playing defenders is a must for survival.

No coincidence that Kari Arnason, the greatest millers player ever ( even the Advertiser agreed with me on that)....played in the Millers team that was not relegated from the championship.

I sometimes think the love of Wood is a "macho" thing. Millers fans tend to like crap players who are brave and give their all.

Sorry but you need much more than that to stay up.

I reckon Woody could only do about 3 "keep it uppies".

IBS, I don't care if he can only do one. What he brings to the team is leadership, one for the others to look up to. A macho character who goes in head first no matter what. A man of steel and who in the side can match that?

I only wish Woody was 25 not 35 and he was just starting with us. Long live King Richard! He will definitely go down in the folklore of players at Rotherham and no matter what the fact about Arnason, for me he couldn't lace Woody's boots.
