Like both to be relegated but if I had to choose one it would be derby. Know quite a few Wendy fans and most of them are not billy big *******s.

Eric, we've been in the 3rd tier before and, if we go down, we'll deserve it. I don't fit the "divine right" tag. After 46 games you are where you deserve to be. If that's 21st for us then great. If it's 22nd or lower then I can fly back next season to tick off some grounds I've not visited before.

With regard to the "off field issues". EFL bending over bckwards? They only ever brought the charges because Gibson from Boro threatened them with a multi million pound law suit. The sale of the ground? The EFL was kept in the loop all the way and gave it their blessing. The first valuation was £85M. The EFL asked to lower it to £80M and they'd sanction it. How on earth could they then turn round and charge us over it. Player amortisation charge. They were aware that over 5 or 6 seasons Derby had used a legal amortisation policy. Over those years, the EFL signed off on the DCFC accounts, accepting the method as being within the rules/UK Law. Then, without a word to Derby, they suddenly decided it was wrong and that DCFC should be charged. If the method was lawful for 5 or 6 years and the rules hadn't changed (and they hadn't) and no change of interpretation hed been communicated to clubs, how on earth could it suddenly change from OK to not OK? That is the situation. Derby were found not guilty of both charges by the EFL. The EFL appealed. The appeal was heard about 3 months ago. The verdict still hasn't been handed down. Why? Because it might be uncomfortable for the EFL? If the appeal had gone their way they'd have nailed us to the cross ages ago, wouldn't they?

Wycombe are as good as down. They need a miracle. The Millers would have to lose, Wednesday win and they have to overcome a 12 goal GD deficit. Of the other 3. We win and we stay up. We lose and we're down. We draw and you don't win, we stay up. You fail to beat Cardiff and you're down. If Wednesday don't win they're down. Lots of ifs, buts and maybes and all the questions will be answered come two thirty this afternoon.

None of us want to be in this position but it's not a false one for any of us. We've all had a poor season. We can all point to moments which have been pivotal. Wrongly disallowed goals, penalties we should have had and those that shouldn't have been given against us. .... and it all means nothing. Today is Cup Final day and all 3 teams HAVE to win. That can't happen as 2 of the 3 play each other. We're in the box seat as we are the only team who know they stay up if they win. All other outcomes are reliant on the other result going your way.

    Que sera, sera.
