There a a fabulous beach...yes beach...only 15 mins walk from Sunderland s ground.
The sea is a bit black but plenty of wide golden sands.

I was amazed when we stumbled across it
A good stroll even if it's cold

You can walk right through the old Roker ground coming back which is now a housing estate

We went the last time we played them, it was mid-week game, ended 1-1, Hastie scored for us. Great set up as you'd expect.

Stayed in the Premier Inn, very good, over the bridge to the ground. Lots of pubs.

Next day on the way back, we played golf at Ripon, another great course.

Beat me to it pal. Not been to Sunderland before so looking forward to visiting their ground. Look like they could be a right handful next season, depends who they keep and bring in.

Well done to Lincoln but I think they're in a for a drubbing against Blackpool in the final.

Have you got the Crystal ball out Brin, you don't know who's playing for them but you think they'll be a handful???
