Waste of space and waste of time. It's not a musical competition any more but a political statement. If Lennon/ McCartney wrote a song at their height it would still come last with 'nil points'.

    Eurovision or Euro Union
Art Imitating life as they say.
Farcical, outrageously biased, an expensive extravaganza.
Nil for us again outlining our popularity over there.
Lloyd Webber tried Years ago if you remember. His complete failure only conforming what we all knew. Blatant distain for us and little to do with any sort of fair competition.

I didn't watch it but did see a clip of our man's effort on TV this morning. Absolutely and utterly cr@p. No wonder he got no points, I doubt that even Nigel Farage would have voted for him 😊 .

I haven't watched it for years, even when I did all those years ago it was under duress. Even my wife abandoned it several years back. Pity really, I used to get a night in the pub.

I’ve been reading today some criticism that Eurovision ‘song contest’ is now just a TV spectacle and more concerned about dance routines than the actual songs. Someone suggested that it should be done on radio only, the result may be very different. Another suggestion would be to stop having dancers, have singers and musicians only and no prancing around the stage. I’ve never seen the point of dancing on stage anyway!
