    Any manager/coach with any concern about damaging his reputation wouldn’t work for the regime in place at the Hawthorns, it looks like they would have their hands tied by the Chinese and their lackey Dowling. Could that be why Wilder walked away?

    If there was a forum in the 70s, I wonder what the opinion of that Cambridge manager Ron Atkinson would be.
    Who was actually 2nd or third choice, Graham Taylor turned the job down because he was yet ready for the step up.
