I’m very pleased that he did well. I didn’t watch it, internationals don’t interest me these days. As for Sam Johnstone, I would be perfectly happy if he remained at the club next season, although I doubt that he will.

Well done Sam. A true Baggie despite the ridicule you have had to accept from some quarters. Had a good sound game but still some find it difficult to give you credit, no surprise they they can’t be magnanimous though. Just chuffed we have a Baggie doing well in the national side. A pride to the club you play for, even thought you may be on the move. (Hope not though) Huge big credit to you Sam, selected for a national side when you are apparently a crap keeper. What do some know eh!

Played well but let’s not forget Wales no doubt would beat Romania. I hope he stays with us mainly because there’s little hope in seeing any reinvestment of a transfer fee.
I've probably been as critical as most fans of his command of the area and distribution but his shot stopping ability has never been in doubt. Having said this, it was a sound debut for his country and the save late on was superb. If he can maintain this form there is no reason why he couldn't be England's number one as the competition isn't outstanding. Can't see him being with us next season though.
Whilst I wouldn't describe myself as a fully paid up member of the Sam Johnstone fan club I thought he did well last night.
Credit where it's due, and it can't be easy to look as composed as he did behind Tyrone Mings. Genuinely chuffed for the lad, well done Sam'.
I didn’t watch the game but saw a great save by Sam shown on the news. Also on the news was Rashford’s penalty; surely that should not have been allowed to stand, he stopped during his run up, since when has that been allowed?
