I started on the Kop, spent decades in the County Road then 'retired' to the Pavis - I'd love part of the Sirrel to come back for Notts fans

I don't see it as being a big problem.
If a season ticket is purchased for the JS it should be explained that certain games will be classed as a category 'A' match and the season ticket holder is then given a seat in a stand of their choice

That sounds a good compromise to me.

It's a good idea. The family stand can hold just over 2100 fans. Whether in the national league or league two, i could only see a maximum couple of league games being a category A fixture
Personally i would love to be sat in that stand

We sat bang on the half way line, half way up the JS. Absolutely brill seats and, as has been said, having walls of noise from all areas made the game so much more intense.
Surely the club need to look at this and make the most of the ground going forwards.
I’d certainly move my season tickets from DP over to JS, especially if I could get such good seats.
Social distancing has seemed to added to the occasion as well. Doesn’t harm when we’re winning!
Going forwards, for the sake of the world, got to hope the country is in a position where social distancing isn’t needed, but if needed, I’d be happy to keep it like that.

Those saying the family stand for away fans, where would the family stand bit go? And just remember, it's not just a stand for those with families, they do all sorts of activities for children pre match and at half time. They'd be better off just limiting the away section to half of the JS stand. Let's face it, how many time so teams fill the away stand?

I think the away fans should be given some stacking chairs in the little car park area behind the Spion Kop where the 5-a-side courts used to be, with a big screen to watch.

That way we can have all four stands for proper home fans. Always.

This topic has been raised before and its always a matter of segregation.

They dont want the family stand for away fans as that would stop them being able to open up the bar at half time. Also there are normally kids activities going off on he indoor pitch.

As for the JS there IS a segregation wall in the concourse but i seem to remember it still would mean a issue up in the stand, tarpaulin sheets can be walked on meaning paying for increased security and potentially policing costs for that stand.

Had a chat with a chap in the USA called Donald and he said the solution to the tarpaulin sheets, in his opinion, is to BUILD A WALL!
