Leigh Curtis not allowed at Torquay

Ridiculous decision by Torquay. Notts must have an allocation of places for directors, support staff, injured players etc. Could we sneak him in with that lot, perhaps we could do with an extra physio?

Aston Villa did this for ITV's Gary Newbon in the European Cup final after he was told he'd have to wait 45 minutes after the game before he could interview anybody, which was obviously no good to ITV whose programme would finish long before then. The Villa manager let Newbon sit on the bench and wear a Villa tracksuit pretending to be a member of staff and he was able to do his post match interview as soon as the game finished. Newbon said the UEFA official who'd denied him access literally burst into tears when he eventually realised what had happened.

It was a ridiculous and petty decision by Torquay. Thankfully it’s given the opportunity for common sense to prevail by Notts showing class and making an excellent gesture.
