They’re certainly doing that, mac. Derby Telegraph/Daily Tripe today suggesting Rooney thinking of walking and Wycombe considering suing us.
Brilliant! Heads should roll...but I’m not sure who’s.

Yeah its brilliant, I'm almost hoping we do go down and he goes. Lets face it he only kept Derby up due to the Owls 6pt deduction, without that we would have been dead and buried, so frankly League 1 is where he should be managing!

So the EFL aren't going to appeal which means no points deduction, but if we still have to submit amended accounts for those 3 years surely it's a given we'll break FFP so a points deduction next season is likely, unless they've dropped the accounting thing as well?

The 3 years accounts still have to be resubmitted once amended to reflect the amortisation method they want us to use.

I'm resigned to breaking FFP and getting 12 points deducted.

Having said that, some wag online this morning said we'd found 30 odd million in an account that would see us breeze through FFP...... probably no more than meadow dressing abd I don't set much store by it.

We might get away with 6?

The interesting thing will be what happens when, under the new accounting policy, we retrospectively fail FFP, but in subsequent years remain in conformity? if we are for example presently (2021 year end 3 year rolling) in conformity with FFP but, on a restated basis, for example as at 2019 year end 3 year rolling, we were not, could they sanction us for being historically in breach when recalculated under their new requirements, despite currently being in conformity???

Might get worse. This is for 16, 17 and 18. Then there will be 17, 18, 19 and then 18 19 20 etc.......

Where's tricky and his inside man at the FA? It's all gone quiet over there
