The 1978 semi at Highbury hurt but the 69 one at Hillsborough was worse being as we were cup holders.
Both us and Everton got to the semis again and we both got knocked out.
That late goal by Allan Clarke was a sickener.

Forgot about this one. I was there as well. Very poor game if my memory serves me correctly. Been to three semi-finals, Leicester, Ipswich and Portsmouth. Lost all three. Best if I stay away. Mind you, God knows when the next one will be!

I actually think we have one of the best squads in the competition. As to one of the best teams though, that involves a whole lot more. Yesterday we saw some great team performances from winners and losers. We need a team performance today not just individual talent. Is it too soon? Probably.
