Not much sign of any movement at all at Turf Moor BT, never mind moving on from Garlick. It's like Groundhog Day innit.

Thanks to all for the warm Burnley welcome. I am Burnley born and bread, but live in Switzerland.

All interesting comments and thoughts. There is still a few weeks to go but it would be encouraging to see some senior players signing on. There is still the threat that Pope, Tarkowski and McNeil will be poached or sold. If they all left, the future would not look good!

What do you expect BT ? This is the Burnley way of doing things. As Norder say what is there to attract younger talented players to Burnley our record in playing them in the first team is rather poor even when we had secured games like at Wolves that was a time to give the younger player some experience but our manager decided against doing that.

Lets be optimistic Messi is available on a free transfer and is in the right age group for Dyche. Unfortunately he would need to be paid his going wage which mean he is ruled out before being considered.

At this point we are worse off that at the same time last season, lets hope there are some diamond transfers in the pipe line.

I hoped for and to be honest VC I expected Pace & Co to be better than Garlick & Co, but it looks like we simply cannot break the "Little Old Burnley" mold.

I do not know if anybody could then understand Swissclaret , I mean anybody with a Lancashire dialect speaking with some .....lets say he is from the Swiss German area? Any Swiss dialects spoken in the German-speaking part of that area, most people in Germany do not understand Swiss German! Then on top a sprinkling of a Lancashire accent???...Ye Gods!..But sub can translate! :-)

Do we have if 'plan B', is needed, anybody with French (A levels ,O levels?) :-)

I studied French for 5 years at school Balan, and then couldn't even pass the O level exam. How that could be after five years I have no idea, but it didn't really matter, when we went to live in France I found what bit of O level French I'd retained virtually useless, they speak a different language over there.

I think the French University student they sent over when I was in Haslingden found that we speak a different language to what she was expecting
