If 99 of you are wearing a mask and one person is in the room who has Covid and you’re close enough your mask ain’t saving you Kets.

If I’m in a supermarket, for example, with a mask on and someone approaches without one then I will either walk away or ask them to keep their distance. There are too many scumbags out there, though, who don’t give s**t about anyone else.

Wearing one in winter with glasses is a pain in the a r s e for example.

It’s personal choice now, get over it.

As some of you know I work in pharmacy and one of the services we provide is for people to collect a test kit to take home. In the last week as the cases have soared the frequency of requests has noticeably increased, but today it's gone to another level, verging on mass hysteria. It was a Morrisons I was in, I'd say more than half were wearing masks and folk were not congregating close together in the queue to pay.

I have to wear a mask every day I go to work due to the NHS edict on prevention and control of infection; I've gotten used to it (even with my glasses on Mick ). I don't like them though and as has been said they don't protect you from someone else's germs, they are a personal choice. Unfortunately though, common sense is not very common - if I had a cough/cold or some other respiratory illness I would put one on. Respiratory bugs will make a comeback which could once again stretch the NHS - the nation needs to calm the fk down and be personally responsible for their actions.

I fully intend to keep wearing a mask for the foreseeable..... might take the snooker ball out of my mouth when I'm in public though, and as for the Villa top I've been wearing for a charity bet well that's just plain embarrassing 😊 .

We (me and SHMBO) will continue to wear masks when ‘around people’ (we will decide what that means) to protect them in case we are carrying.

The increase in covid cases is obviously linked to far more people getting tested, so, as you say WCV, the country needs to calm down
