Thread: Villa Park....

All fair points Dave, I now work 6 days most weeks so it'd be hard to see how I'll get to a game anyway but the days of deciding to go close to/on the day of a game seem long gone unless it's a cup match when a weaker side is likely to feature.

It is now official, vila have laid plans for a new North stand bringing the attendance above 50,000. This is long overdue if not for more fans just getting rid of the goal post stand, bloody awfull, seats too tight, concourse too narrow and toilets, enough to let 3 people pee at a time! Plans due out this summer and submitted to Birmingham council.

There's a pic doing the rounds of what it might look like with both corners filled in and I have to say it's great, phase 2 is apparently a 3rd tier on the DE stand which itself is starting to feel a bit dated.

Wow, A 3rd tier on the DE stand....mind blowing, I guess that makes it easier to 'Horseshoe' the roof in one geometric shape! Have you seen how the Anfield expansion is coming on, looks similar! Got it on YT.
