One thing I do hope when away fans return, is that just like for derbies, we do not give Celtic or Sevco the shed

The most we should give them is the 3600 that Jerry Kerr and Fair Play allows

We would have managed that last season in a non covid world so hope we stick to it

Thats what happens when you start positively and dont sit back, you get the fans on board immediately and it builds momentum

Atmosphere was brilliant right through from start to finish. But like everything one feeds off the other- if the team turns up then the crowd get behind them more which in turn inspires the side more etc etc etc. However, great as it was, if the match had gone the other way I’m pretty sure it would have turned toxic. Rapidly. We were only a couple of Sevco goals way from ‘Asghar, Asghar Get Tae Phuck’ in all probability. Happily that didn’t come to pass. What now needs to happen is for the team to continue to perform like yesterday and that’ll not happen. As Arabs we do not expect to win every single week, far from it. But what we do expect is a high level of work rate and effort so that should we lose then at a minimum the winning team have had to work hard and earn the win and know they’ve been in a game. Something which last week just simply did not happen.

Well said James and couldn’t agree more. Like others have said in this thread, I really enjoyed yesterday, the atmosphere was brilliant, the effort immense, and I was still there acknowledging the team at the final whistle (normally well away back to the boozer)
    🤣

I don't think that's wise in a financial sense. It would be hard for us to shift 5000+ tickets at £30 a pop for a game against the filths that's also on the telly so na just gve the infirm the shed and charge them £35.

Nah don't want to give them the advantage anymore, it's small time thinking, we'd have managed it last season if covid hadn't happened, as the derbies proved, even the Hibs Cup game and play off games with ict and St Mirren, we should always sell shed middle section to United fans (holds 500), then anything else is a bonus opening section at a time from their

Killie giving them 9000 have ended up in the championship and been shyte for years apart from a wee spell under Steve Clarke, got better results though when their allocation was cut to half

Might disagree online but up there with the best on this island when it comes to standing by the club and total passion, of that there is no doubt, they didn't enjoy that today, the fans helped a lot, we will always be some club
Yep, a forum is full of opinions, which we’ll not all agree with, but one thing we will all agree on, is that we ALL want the best for our club, that will simply never change, and yesterday showed how well backed they have been, and will be, if they put the same effort in as the fans do. PTBAA.

So you'd rather have a thousand or so home fans in the Shed and hundreds of empty seats in both our home ends? Think you're getting swept away on the glorious result from yesterday.

    It's the mhinks up next.
    It's on telly.
Can't compare this fixture to the Dundee Derby.
We'd lose tens of thousands in revenue.

I would suggest Killie losing 22 of 38 games has more to do with them being in the Championship than giving the Old Firm 9000 tickets for three matches.
