I had a feeling they would be ok before a ball was even kicked this season. Their manager is very likeable, knowledgeable and tactically astute. Reminds me of Klopp. They won't get relegated

For a start if there were 2 strikers for example, one scored 9 goals from 10 good chances whilst the other scored 5 goals from 15 good chances in a 90 minute game. Most teams would buy the 9 goal striker because of his goals scored number, whereas they would buy the 5 goal striker because although they didn't score as many, they got into more good positions to score. Over time they would calculate this striker is better due to getting into the right position more often, thus increasing chances of scoring.

There is more to it but that's one example

Please don't ask why I used such high numbers for scoring in a game, I have no idea haha but you get the idea. Be the same if one scored 3 from 3 whereas another scored 1 from 6 say.

Without being disrespectful Matthew Benham is light years ahead of Tony Stewart(and many others) as to how to run a successful football club. There are several really interesting online articles regarding his history and football achievements. For example he employs a team of at least 12 football mad super qualified young analysts who know the game and worldwide players inside out. He even sacked Warburton after achieving promotion because he didn't follow the model ! We can't and wont compete with that.

They just seem to have a good business model and know what they are doing.
Their owner Matthew Benham who has made his riches from gambling is no richer than Tony Stewart.
We are clubs of a similar size with a similar size fanbase.
What is the secret to their success and can we ever emulate what they have achieved?
Has Tony lacked the ambition at crucial points when an investment injection might just have changed our fortunes for the better or as he given up on reaching the promised land?
Are you seriously comparing a few figures on paper and using them to compare the affluence of West London with... Rotherham?!!!!

Try this for size.. Brentford's new stadium cost SEVENTY ONE million quid... 3.5 times ours! It houses an initial 17000 fans and in that glutted area will soon need extending.. while ours holds 12,051 and on our history will NEVER need extending. What a preposterous post the 'Brentford Model' is.
Try talking about 'levelling up' as our Tory chums spout... about as much chance.
Neither Sheffield club can survive in Div 1 but you think WE could have emulated Brentford but for Tony Stewart.. get real.
