There is no change from Pereira sake, parachute payments and salary savings on offloads ..... our wonderful Chairman has pocketed the lot ...

Does anybody have any idea of how much money has come into the club with the sale of Pereira, parachute payment and the money saved from the offload of players? Not much has gone out, that's for sure. If Lai has pocketed it then the sooner he recoups his losses and gets out of our club, the better.

    Totally agree with you Leics.

The only problem is of course that it is his club and not ours. That is where football needs a complete rethink. Surely clubs should not be the playthings of multi billionaire owners, whether they be individuals or multi National companies.

Football has lost all contact with the people who really matter, and it’s soul.

Remember Hugill playing for QPR against us at Loftus Road couple of seasons ago. Battering ram of a CF .... gave our centre backs that day a tough time in a battling sense ..... a threat in the air which might bode well with our long throw-ins and corners .... but not much else.....

Useful squad addition .... but shows lack if ambition IMO

He’ll be useful for sure and will definitely suit the system but it’s underwhelming.

Don't know much about him tbh, but maybe Val see's him like Mick Jones at Leeds, never prolific but a battering ram that created a lot of chances for Allan Clarke.
If you want a traditional number 9, that batters defence's, hold's the ball up, brings others into play and scores 25 goals a season you are talking Jeff Astle.
That type of player would now cost a fortune and we would be mad to pay that much in this division.
Hugil should be okay if we can get Dike to play alongside him. But he isn't premier league quality.
Neither are most of our squad so if we do go up we need to completely overhaul the squad.

Welcome to Jordan, ten times better that Zohore, who I hope never to see in an Albion shirt again.

It’s like “Here’s a striker who only scored 4 goals last season we shouldn’t have any competition for his signature!”
    “Brilliant Lai!, you’re a genius!”
