Alan Pace: ‘I want Burnley to be the UK’s favourite underdog’
https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/a...terview-880159
as he says, it's about drawing interest, building dependence on the connection/relationship, rather than the substance...that thing that causes us to "Question" - as take that away, and it's all made for TV, a fiction, manipulation...an illusion to coerce the spectator into enthusiastic response - accepting of whatever shadows are cast in front of them...all tailored for their enjoyment, but far from real.
I can't trust the game anymore, because (imo) top to bottom, it's corrupted - for these Business Slime and Greedy Cheating Sell Out Cnuts...to come in first.

You only have to look at the recent shenanigans at PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid, to validate your post Norder.
The off field shenanigans of the EPL player elite is getting more Caligulaesque by the day.

We, by that I mean us fans, need to adapt. It's clear we can all see what's happening, and not happening to our club, and there's not a thing any of us can do about it. It's no use moaning and whingeing, it won't change anything, our time in the Premier League is coming to an end, if you want to know what's in store for us, have a look at the recent history of Blackpool, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers. There is no reason to think we can avoid a similar fate, the only unknown is how far down the leagues we fall before we recover, and recover we will, as those three clubs have done.
Eventually equilibrium will be restored and we will find the level we are comfortable with, most likely the Championship, and there we can rest content, the occasional push for promotion, the occasional flirting with relegation. We do not belong in the Premier League, the genius that is Sean Dyche has led to the delusion that we can become an established PL club, we can't, even if ALK did have money, it wouldn't be enough, there are always going to be at least 16/17 clubs at that level wealthier than BFC and relegation is inevitable, Dyche has simply delayed the inevitable, but it's now upon us. Might as well get used to the fact, it's going to be a bumpy ride, but we'll survive, and find our rightful level.

All very true, sinkov, and that is the modern football world. Unfortunately, there are quite a number of fans who consider it a total disaster to be relegated from the PL. The reality is that relegation means Championship football ---not non-league, which is now our preference!
The events of the past 8 months have certainly been food for thought with almost all members of the old Board having moved on to pastures new and with one ex-director, who is a relative of mine, having not renewed his season ticket for reasons unbeknown to me. Strange times at BFC.
No not yet BT , don’t know if I’m different having had it I may have anti bodies anyway ( my own so to speak ).
You know me though I’ll be having it if they think I need it , don’t think anything is ever going back to how it was sadly
Lost count on how many threads relate to investment on the pitch but it's obvious you guys are worried and TBH there are overtones of what happened to set us off on the road to bankruptcy - an aging squad, a manager (Fat Sam) asking for money to replace them, getting refused and then walking.
But even though the omens are there, you aren't quite at that stage yet. Still time for signings, plenty of games to sort things out and Dyche is still with you. Frankly I'd be surprised if the window closes without any more Burnley signings.
