A bit flat to be honest and I've had better afternoons I have to say .

A work in progress , I'll leave it at that .
    I bet you've got a hang over haven't you.

Yeah. We were 2nd best today. So its probably a point gained rather than 2 lost.

Entertaining but yet another game passes us by without a bench to create an impact and it’s costing us.

Really missing Morris and Anderson big style in my opinion.

Lucky point but I’ll take it all day long .

However this is the championship and what happened last week is pretty much neither here nor there and that goes for ourselves who were outstanding for an hour at QPR .

A win would give us 8 points going in to the international break and a fair enough return I think given the transition taking place here at the moment .
Birmingham a different team under Bowyer, good point considering.
Sibbick was dominated and should have been subbed at Halftime.
Manager clearly doesn't trust the bench. Missed Morris and Andersen today although Kitching & Helik looked good.
Front 3 a bit toothless. Ball never stuck up there and kept coming back.

There's definitely more questions than answers at the moment Manc .

Why did Benson play so deep ?

On a positive note we played through the Birmingham press exceptionally well from the back , all the space in the world to play in , about 50 yards .

Pretty much braindead from that point on though .

I'm desperately trying not to be harsh on Schopp ,

It's early days and he's trying to play a different way from Val , he's a number of players missing for one reason or another .

Pretty much convinced the 3-4-3 is what's doing for him in my opinion .

I think he needs to change it .

Bit early for that imo. 5 games in and from what I've seen we've done alright adapting to a new style. Birmingham had the better of the second half but first half we cut them wide open couple of times with some decent passing football and should've been 2 up at half time rather than 1-1. Bench is a concern and limits our options. Fair result in end fo me.

At half time I was thinking we can beat them as they are nothing special, and that was the case up until the hour mark.
But then they always looked more of a threat after that and how on earth did they miss those two chances, especially the one that bobbled off the post.
We didn't test their keeper though and its always disappointing when that happens.
Im excited about the Benson & Palmer partnership in midfield but it only seems to last for about 60 minutes each game, and once again the long aimless balls towards Woodrow & Frieser just weren't working. We got ourselves into some very good attacking positions but every final ball was pathetic to be honest.
And when we had that free kick in a really dangerous position late on, we needed somebody like Mowatt to curl it in instead of Benson hitting their wall of defenders. Ohh and the resulting corner and a number of our other corners as well were disappointing, trying to whip it in at the near post and failing to beat their first defender every time.
And what about that double substitution ehh, Victor and the kid Moon coming on.. although I don't blame Marcus for that, what else can he do.

Yes as some have said, its a work in progress and thats going to bring frustrations of course. But I am pleased with the start we've made as we go into an Intl break, it could have been better but it will do for now.
