Hope this is completely wrong, but I think the early season bubble might have burst already
IB could be solving problems sooner than he thought....

    - underwhelming wing-back options if he's not brave enough to pick the more attacking options
    - key guy in the midfield 'pivot' role having an early mini-crisis of confidence
    - probably rotating young, fit 24/25 year-olds who we need on the pitch
    - memories of the last game (a few weeks ago really) when Ellis was absolutely immense for us, heading everything away. Now we've got to hope Rawlo can do it.

Two successive wins at the Racecourse would be a first for Notts. All of our three wins there this century have been 1-0's. Neither side has won a league clash between the two by more than one goal since 1969 but we did win 3-0 there in an FA Cup replay in 1985 with goals from David Clarke, Mick Waitt and Ian McParland, going on to beat Stoke City away in the next round and then meet Spurs in the 4th Round.

A draw would be a very decent result.

    2-2.

If Notts p%ss about like on Saturday, and their big signings click, could be an emphatic defeat. This is Notts however, so could easily be 0-2 but I doubt it.

Can't see more than 400 making the trip when it's on TV and probably no trains back.

    "Your support is flipping s%%t"
"We took 700 to Eastleigh blah blah blah." Yes lads, it's called a bandwagon/circus. We know all about that.

And BT will be fawning over Wrexham like they did with Salford.

I'm predicting 1-1 with Roberts scoring if starting.

I'm going bet on 2-2 at 12s and BTTS 7/10

The bookies don't fancy us to win and have us at 12/5 and the home side at almost evens!

One thing's for sure, Wrexham won't be doing a Torquay with everyone behind the ball.
I'm nervous about this one, but have never yet forecast a Notts defeat.

I hope Lacey can start instead of Rawlinson. I’d bring Jim in from the start. If Taylor is fit he can start, though Chickson did OK yesterday.
    1-0 Notts. Rubes penalty.

They may or may not be anti-Notts but they are definitely pro-Wrexham (as are Vanarama imo).

Wrexham 2, Notts 1 - Roberts with a consolation in injury time.

This will be a great test for us, but not convinced by our back three or goalkeeper so far. Suspect this game will come too soon for Alex Lacey, who needs some reserve team football - remember that - to get back to full fitness. Also be interesting to see if and when Mitchell and Vincent are given a chance to impress.
