Funny old game, after Saturday fans were casting doubts about Cameron as captain but one match later it's a good decision.

It certainly is.

Didn't see the Torquay game but he was impressive against Barnet and very impressive against Wrexham in the games I've seen. Naturally eveyone's got an opinion but he's fine by me, very comfortable on the ball, picks a pass, doesn't look slow, good in the air, great accent.

Surprised at the decent-ish ratings for Taylor. He looks like an accident waiting to happen. Never plays on the half turn and offered literally no attacking threat all game. When he receives the ball it’s always passed inside or he runs inside with it…which wouldn’t be so bad if he knew he could use both feet. He’s like a C rate version of Bakayoko, who never really shined himself either!

I think that’s a bit harsh. I thought we played quite conservatively against Wrexham, partly because of their attacking talent, and partly because I think we’re trying to tighten up against the better teams after what happened in the playoffs. So not a great game for Taylor to show his attacking instincts, also he was apparently getting over illness.

Hopefully we’ll see a bit more positivity from him on Saturday.
