That is the way TV, films everything is going. Everything has to be 'funny', I've lost interest in films these days as they're all just comedy based with crap jokes throughout and no real storylines. But don't criticise it because you know, someone might get their feelings hurt.

Really wish they'd hire people for being genuinely good at their job. Commentators, pundits, football presenters are all crap these days there aren't many who make anything remotely watchable only ones I can think of are McCoist, Carragher, Neville and surprisingly Jermaine Beckford! Yet we get the likes of Joe Cole and Karen Carney spouting absolute nonsense at least with Gabby Agbonlahor you know he is doing it for a reaction the other two (and many others i just can't be arsed listing them) have just said the first lazy comment they can think of.
Yep. Doesn’t matter if you can read, write or have a personality, as long as your colour or gender fits the bill.

Uh huh. ***uality ("minority"), disability (visible or otherwise), all will get you points (and what do points make?). And I speak of what I KNOW, not what I suspect.

Modern equality rarely have so few benefitted at the expense of so many - to misquote a famous line.

Hate all forms of discrimination but increasingly we are told what to do and what to thinks and what we can and can’t say - 1984 meets Brave New World! There is no reason why all people can’t be treated fairly rather than choosing to promote the interests of one group above another.

If you portray people as victims then there is a danger that is how they will see themselves and stay in that mindset rather than just getting on with life and moving on.

Because if they'd have sacked him liklihood was that he's be back on the booze by now - so better to keep him on than the possible negative press of seeing the Merse back in rehab - only my opinion like.....
