Theres a rumour on their board that they suspect it's an anonymous investor...a successful local business man..Me I think they've screwed the tax man via the furlough scheme...

Their Financial Controller has gone on record as saying that they took out an insurance policy against COVID and won their claim in the courts.

I guess John Croot has a crystal ball to see Covid coming. I like the "We have a significant backstop of finance that will come in in the next 12 months.” bit, heard that before, haha!!

    It's certainly one to watch.

How much have they spent? Large transfer fees like Wrexham or mainly lots of signings on healthy wages?

What are they going to do if the insurance company appeals this decision?. It says they are expecting the insurance to pay out monthly in the near future, but if they appeal then they wont get a Drachma for quite a while if they still win. Also does this mean the Government will ask for there money back seeing as they were insured against Covid and were not financially effected by the pandemic after all !

Bit of a minefield isn't it? Like most things in football and as we have seen many times at Notts over the years it is better to ask for forgiveness than seek permission! If they shoe horn their way into the EFL and then things take a turn for the worse it will probably have been worth it. They have taken their chance and I for one can't fault them for that.

It seems they have gambled their house and all their possessions on the Roulette wheel in Vegas on Red or Black. All well and good if it comes up the colour of their choosing, however I pity the fans if it doesn't after all it is they that potentially lose it all.

I dont think its like that. They have said they have a drip feed of money this season. Once the player contracts run out the players move on. Not complex they are only 2 year deals. They might as well have a go I would if I was them.
