Banter has its place.

However, the term ‘banter’ should never be used as an excuse to humiliate, upset or abuse someone else.

What may seem like ‘bants’ to one person could be deeply offensive or upsetting to someone else.

I did see it as banter.

However others clearly didn't.

The thing is I never normally meet posters from forums but I thought that if James was on his train to Rochdale and the game got called off he could stop at Nottingham and we could go for a few pints in the city and maybe it wouldn't have been a total waste of a journey but I got it in the neck from everywhere and everyone within minutes,I've given it some thought afterwards and there's only one concussion for it but as I said I'm not willing to say incase I've got it wrong

Can’t remember if I’ve told Griff this ( It may have been Moorlad) but I use to come on this board years and years back before I even knew the Carlisle folk I do now. Even had it saved on my favourites. Didn’t post but viewed it a lot and thought it was ace and the bewer threads always made me smile.

It’s a shame a VERY light hearted remark from me on it caused the trouble it did but I guess a certain someone couldn’t wait for a reason to have a pop at me with frankly disgusting remarks. I think it should continue.

I might just keep it going because I like to reminisce too. I’m not going to keep going over what happened though, it serves no purpose and the other party is unable to defend himself which I’m uncomfortable with. What’s done is done.
