Doubt if it's worth anything but I've kept it just in case
Especially as that myth isn't strictly true!

Hi Archie, our family has both Home & Away Millers v Villa League Cup Final.
One is more valuable than the other, one on it's own was for sale for £600 on eBay a couple of years ago.
We've also got the programmes up to the Quarter Final, unfortunately don't have the Semi's.

Remember Spurs away rest well lol...

Ally Pickering. Working on nights at pit on the night but my mate and me stayed behind to watch it and made ourselves late. Missed going down pit for 10pm and ended up going down at midnight and had two hours pay docked but it was worth it to see it unfold

Now it's been mentioned that would make us drawing Buxton tonight even more of a coincidence. They're our MM team to watch and Ally Pickering was their biggest ever transfer sale, to us. Are we about to enter The Twilight Zone?

Might be wrong but I think it was the first FA Cup tie to be decided that way, there had been other football competitions decided by a penalty shoot out before our game.

There had been an FA Cup game decided on a penalty shoot out before that one. In the early 70s the FA Cup used to have 3rd and 4th place playoffs and in 1972 Birmingham beat Stoke 4-3 in a penalty shoot out.

What I remember about that first season of penalty shootouts is that the headline was that we were the first team to win a shootout in the FA cup. But in a later round Southampton beat Man U. But were Southampton the first Prem team to win a shootout, no, the headline was Man U are the first team to lose one. Bloody media, cant even give anyone else any glory, the focus always has to be on the big team.
