Was it at the Civic Hall or the old Queens Theatre? I think I was there.

That was not a theatre for old queens by the way!

Not 100% sure to be honest and it was a long time ago. Was there such a place as Queens Hall as I thought it was there. I thought I had a programme but can’t find it in my ‘memories shoe box’.

Haven’t been into Wolverhampton centre since the 1970s despite my wife originating from Tettenhall way.

The power of the internet!

The concert not only had The Small Faces but also The Hollies (top of the bill), Paul & Barry Ryan, Nashville ****s, Paul Jones and a few others and it was at The Gaumont, in October 1966.

Was remembering that it didn’t only have the Small Faces and reminiscing how many acts were on the bill with ‘she who must be obeyed’.
