The thing is with the Woke and the BLM b o l l o x is that like any form of zealotry, they shout loudest and longest and ordinary, fairly normal people can’t be a r s e d to keep shouting back.

My grandparents were lovely people, I wonder what they’d think and how they’d react if brought back to life now?

Mum’s dad lied about his age to fight in WW1 and dad’s dad swam for his life at Dunkirk even though he’d never actually learned to swim, sheer panic propelled him to the waiting boats!

I think they’d reflect that all the sacrifice had been pointless.

We might as well have been ruled by Nazis for the last 80 years because it’s a form of Nazism that’s taking over now.

I’ll be dead pretty soon.......thankfully.

My grandad ( on my dad’s side ) I used to clash with a lot as a ****ager, it was only as I got into my mid 20’s and just before he died that we got on better.

I’d realised by then that the reason we clashed was actually because we were very alike a people and personalities.

As I’ve now reached the age at which I really first remember him really well ( 60 ) those similarities are unmistakable, for good and for bad........he always had a glass barely a tenth full! 😏🤣

Anyway, when him and Nan stayed with us when I was a ****ager he used to complain about the amount of time I spent in the toilet, being a one loo house could cause tension.

One day, after a particularly long sit on the throne I heard him ranting to my dad and my brother that if I carried on as I was I was going to w a n k myself to a standstill! 👀🤔🤣

Little did he know that I had my “stash” hidden in the airing cupboard and he was actually spot on! 😎

Whilst we’re on this confessional thread I do think it’s time to admit that auntie Polly ( not a real auntie but one of mum’s fit younger friends ) would often come to mind if my copies of Escort and Razzle had been discovered by mum......aunt Polly had a habit of sitting with her legs apart exposing her “growler” and that site of a 30 year old to a 14 year old was too much to contain.

She’s 76 now so I avoid her visits!

Spot on about the anarchists but Mick I wouldn't be so sure that it'll be dead anytime soon - recently saw a clip of a daytime TV show where a young woman stated that no-one could answer the question "what is a woman?"! The wokery is in overdrive and I just find myself in disbelief at the relentless airtime this nonsense is getting. Since when did facts morph into opinion FFS
