Yes, it use to be hoof ball but now, we use great wing play where all the midfield are involved, add to this two up font is very encouraging and great to see. No more lump up to Crooks to knock on to Smith to attack a back line but, a far more fluid balance throughout the team where we press as a team and one where you really have work hard for a place.

Great time to be a Miller and long may it continue.
He's playing then? I haven't been keeping much of an eye on his time to be honest. Glad if so, seems a great lad. I did look for Olosunde the other day at Preston, seems to be injured as they were waiting for him to make his debut still.

Indeed we should have and maybe having to play one up front because of that, foiled our attempt to stave off relegation. But in the present day we may also need cover for Oggy, now he’s a recognised international player.

Don’t know what your take on it is but, he looks a bit leggy since his last qualifying games and, we may be asking too much from him.

He’s their top scorer on 4 goals with 1 assist.

I personally think that Matt Crookes would have loved to have been in this squad we have now, but ironically the money we got for Matt brought us a couple of excellent additions to the squad, I genuinely wish Tree a wonderful time in football for the rest of his career, for what he did for us. I’m very happy with that outcome.
The local Pizza takeaways won’t be as happy though

100% we now had 2 strikers playing as strikers and 3 cm playing as cm .Crooks dropped in and out of games too often and when he was bad he was bad . Rathbone and a chunk of cash was probably the best deal ever made by this club in its entire history . Now we need to tie Wiles and a few others down pay them what they want and stop ****ing about with **** offers .

Yes, agree with that. Crooks could have a storming game and then follow it up with a mediocre one.

Our squad members now seem to have a level of consistency we haven’t seen for a while, plus there’s less need to resort to square pegs in round holes.

Thing is buddy we are renown for letting contracts almost end before we step in. Could this be the time Warne demands more from Stewart before we lose any of this great talent? We’ve already lost Smudge at the end of the season for not tying him down earlier.

    But is that club policy?

Or do they try to negotiate earlier and get turned down by player and agent?

If a player isn’t interested to negotiate then other than dropping him there’s no way of forcing them to the negotiating table

The players that will want to negotiate early are the ones that aren’t very good and are looking to get tied into a longer contract

If he was still near I would put money on JJ going out on loan and Smith, grigg, ladapo and crooks being the 4 strikers.
