    Agree, keep Mulgrew in defence
Our midfielders need to be stronger and braver on the ball down to TC to coach or TA to recruit,
Don't even get me started on our forwards, waste of space all of them

I think With Levitt missing again and maybe not trusting Sporle at LB in a 4 they might goto a 3 at the back with Smith Mulgrew and Edwards

We played three at the back at Pittodrie with Mulgrew, Edwards and Reynolds and, well, let’s just say I doubt we’ll be returning back to that any time soon………………………

I like a back 3. I think it suits us. That said, as per the Aberdeen and Celtic games, regardless of formation if you are too passive it will always be rubbish.
Depending on fitness I think the below suits us best:
    Siegrist
    Edwards Mulgrew McMann/Smith
    Freeman Fuchs Levitt/Harkes Sporle
    Harkes/Pawlett Niskanen
    Clark

Think the 4 in midfield "box" gives us a lit of strength to control the game. Still can break wide but more solid defensively in wider areas.

Maybe I am over thinking it though. As long as we actually up our tempo and aggression I don't think it matters what we do.
