We can't use the "provocation" get out of jail card - Raphinia did something very similar at Stamford bridge...it happens every week up and down the country, difference is some of the neantderthalls at our club just lose the plot.
Knuckle draggers simply give the FA amunition to fine us or worse dock us points!

I disgree just as strongly when we do it as other teams. From what I know chelski still has some real "intense" fans like Elland Road has. You are asking for trouble.

Just a thought.... celebrate for a moment with your team and then go right back and line up for the whistle. Most of us know that the weakest moment for a team defensively is right after you have scored. Get ready to stop that from happening. Some goals are more special than others but act like you've done it before. Since I'm so old and have played for years I've scored a lot of goals as a striker and midfielder. I try to act like it's not my first goal.

    I’m not condoning bottle throwing.
However if the lad had celebrated down the middle of the pitch or with his own supporters, then there wouldn’t be an issue.

More of it going on today at Newcastle and currently at Hull v Everton - groundstaff/security sat watching the game and not the crowd so no chance of it being stopped
