Thanks Freddie for your service..now can we've on!!
Not blaming him at all - just think it sends the wrong message to players not getting in the side if he's selected

What to do what to do???

Not good how he’s dropped a bombshell like this but each to their own, the club owns his contract not his life.

Start Grigg? Not for me. All this talk of his link play with Smith sounds ok but, he was brought in to score goals as a forward but he ain’t delivering.

JJ, you can see and sense the enthusiasm from this lad and his urgency to score but, he’s far too lightweight. The QPR defence may well give him a torrid time that could knock his confidence starting and not delivering. A long way to go with his strength etc but, definitely one for the future as they say.

Ladapo? He’s still here, he’s on 12 goals in all comps so start him I say. I probably over reacted yesterday hearing the news but, on today’s reflection that’s what I’d do. If he has/ wants potential future employers then he has to show he’s got it, which surely has to be a win win all round.

Having said that if Ladapo needs to impress his new club then he could get an hatrick

Tbh I’m disappointed in his performance in L1 was expecting him to be top scorer
Fans (most I’d say) have always been behind him even when he’s not started games, can’t understand some of abuse I’m seeing over this but not surprised, I’m not happy he doesn’t want to be here but he has done well for us and appreciate that
    All the best to him

Yep i agree with that he said he wants to go so act professional to the club that pays you accept you will benon the bench, when you come on play your best to attract suitors

I don't think it would send out the best message to other squad members, particularly JJ and Grigg. A guy picked over them who doesn't want to be here? Sounds a bit dismissive of them. That's how I would take it if I were one of them. I'm not playing him if I'm PW but I'm not so who knows. I think I'm in the minority with this outlook though.

I'll leave that decision to the manager who will presumably have had chance to speak to Ladapo by now and assess his state of mind.
Personally I'm pretty disgusted that the player didn't have the common decency to discuss his reasons for wanting a move with the manager before requesting a transfer. On that basis, if I was Paul Warne, I would put him on the bench for a while.
It's nonsense to say he needs to play for potential suitors to assess him. Any club worth their salt will have been monitoring his performances for a while if they were considering making a move for him in January.
I just hope he gets shipped out quickly and we can move serenely on.

Grigg not up to it now. Kayode not ready. Ladapo wouldn't even have him on bench. Smith lone striker Sadlier behind him. Next Saturday more important hopefully Ladapo gone his replacement in.
