Thing is, we know Dubs is a good 'keeper-I can't work out what's going on there.

My mate who lives a couple of doors down from him used to talk to him a lot but says that recently he's been more reclusive and doesn't seem very happy.

Wilson is a very decent striker but too injury-prone. We should keep him but buy another top striker (yeah, I know, I know) which would take the pressure off him.

Dubravka would be better with a decent defence infront of him. ASM would also benefit from not being surrounded by sh!te
Yes, forgot Wilson is fragile, that just leaves Trippier then !

Interesting about Dubs, suggests that it might be something in his personal life that has gone off kilter, knocking his game.

Maybe fact he can't easily fly home and see family, hasn't seen them in a few years cos of COVID?

Wilson - agreed, we knew his issues when signed him. If he didn't have them he'd be playing for a top team.

He's not long become a Dad for the first time, too...affects folk in different ways?

    I dunno...but he's a better 'keeper than we're seeing at the minute.

This game apart, the obvious problem with Dubs is that because of our over-fragile defence he has to face a bigger proportion of the game than he normally would have had if our team as a whole had most of the game stats in their favour.

It's as simple as that. The lad is overworked and carries far too much responsibility on his shoulders. The pressure is sure to show after a while.

Ashley players must be replaced one by one. Wilson and Dubravka included.
    Pretty much my thought.

Eveyone will go over a few seasons to be replaced with genuine quality. We just got very through this window with 4-5 additions of quality, survive and clean the decks in the summer. 11-14 shipped out in the summer.

Let's Remain supportive to get the job done

Well, if that that stops him from performing I certainly wouldnt want him in such an important role.

Pundits never moaned about players signing for us in the past 14 yrs. We've not had their ire over a player of calibre of Trippier signing for the club during the whole of the previous regime. That would be because we signed chances and no marks.

Some turned out to be good, Cabaye, Beni, Cisse, Ba. Sissoko made fatty a fortune but was pretty garbage for us apart from that one gate against Chelsea where he was a beast! However the rest of the signings have been drek, dross from around Europe.

Cast offs from 2nd rate French teams will no longer be touted to or end up kissing the NUFC badge that's for sure!
