Barnsley Football Club can confirm the signing of former Morocco youth international, Amine Bassi.

The 24-year-old joins the Reds on loan from Ligue 1 side, FC Metz, until the end of the 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship campaign, subject to VISA approval.

Which should be cleared by Good Friday lol

No - we are not already relegated.
There is still a large part of this season still to play.
Just a reminder that this transfer window could have been used to bring in players to get us clear of relegation.

In another 3 or 4 years time - if we are still stuck in Division 1 - fans will look back on January 2022 and say we had a chance to stay in the Championship but the owners didn’t bring anyone in that could change things.

This transfer window could turn out to be a very important one for the future of Barnsley Football Club

I would agree that a 2 or 3 of decent signings could still save us. However, I don't see that happening under these owners

I see Luke Bolton has signed for Salford two and half year deal.
I guess we couldn’t match their terms

Well that’s the point in it.
There’s all to still play for - and some supporters are getting giddy about 2 out of favour youngsters coming to the club.
Supporters need to stand back and think what might have been.

And are there any Barnsley Supporters out there that can understand what’s happening here - as every Barnsley players value is on the brink of plummeting as the 1st Division trap door is opened and the owners are staring into it ???

One significant poster on here knew what they were right from the moment they bought the club .

Some of us took a little longer and many others until recently .

This transfer window doesn't make me angry , doesn't surprise me or anything else to be honest .
