Formation lately switching from a 4-5-1 to a 4-3-3 during the match.
Completely different to the regular 3-4-3 that was regularly played last season.

Since the vertical football tactics have been ditched - I think Asbaghi has finally found a formation in 4-5-1 that actually works.
We have midfielders that can zip the ball about at speed.
Some of the midfield football in recent games has been a real pleasure to watch.
We are having periods during games where we are dominating teams - and this is through our dominance of midfield.

Although in saying that - they are midfielders - they arn’t used to scoring - and this is clearly evident.
But when we have brought another striker on in the last couple of games the formation drops to a 4-4-2 - and the level of performance drops with it.

Personally I think we should stick to the 4-5-1 formation.
As Morris is head and shoulders above any other striker at the club - so where does this leave Woodrow ?
Because IMO Woodrow comes behind Cole and Leya in the pecking order.
