Well hopefully everyone on here is aware that it's ultimately about points and promotion.

Saying that if performance levels and entertainment didn't matter a jot then you might as well not go to games. Instead just check the full time score each week and then go online to praise or grumble.

If you aren't performing well, especially at home, crowds will noticeably drop and the club's finances will be badly hit. This potentially will lead to a downward spiral. As the Americans would say "the product on offer is important".

The Americans didn't quite finish off the phrase - the product on offer is important, but the result is much more important.

Unless you would be happy watching us play pretty football at this level for the next decade.

I think IB has added value to the squad with I believe more of the players desired by other clubs and would fetch transfer fees

Put it one way if PPG is the same whose style is better to watch ??? I know who I prefer.
I would also add that this season has been far more competitive than the 2 other seasons we have spent down here. The teams assembled are better. Whilst we have cut our cloth accordingly.

No of course not, no Notts fan wants that! As I stated points and promotion are the most important things. That doesn't change the fact that perfomance and entertainment are also important and shouldn't be ignored.

If you aren't getting the results, and you aren't entertaining then you are in real trouble as supporters stay away from the ground. We've certainly seen that combo over the years.

A very good point, another improvement at the club.

Is it premature to say that Sam is looking likely like another success story?#radarlove

Probably but if not, then it's quite the turnaround from the lad#zerotoculthero

Exactly. This is the owners model for the club to hopefully become more sustainable. We appear to have a coach that can improve the players we have here, thus implementing the model quite well so far. Decent performances also which will put more bums on seats over time.

It's a really tough league this year, and whilst it's disappointing we aren't higher up the table, I am content to be patient.

To be fair to him, NA had a pretty decent record at this level

    Nobody really answered my question.
Could we start with a more 'defensive' team away from home, with the likes of Rawlo in? Or do we stick with what we got ?

I would go with the side that’s played the last 2 games.
In theory we should be better away from home as teams don’t implement a ‘low block’.
That said IB needs consider the surface we are playing on and adapt accordingly. If the pitch is difficult to pass on, don’t play a passing game. There is no reason we can’t go forward quicker and have players like Ruben, Cal and now Eli feeding off Wootton. It’s a pity we don’t have a genuine target man to feed the 3 mentioned as it’s clear as day Woots is less effective away from home.
Could we play Cameron up front (didn’t he play up front against Notts in the play off?) and have Rawlinson at the back?

I wouldn’t be starting Cameron upfront, but I wouldn’t have minded him playing the last ten minutes or so last night up there.
