The least you can ask is 100%...
Robbie Savage will admit he had limited ability.
But he left everything on the pitch
Did not make it a man utd, went to crewe and give it everything and made a good living out of football.
Raphinia needs a attitude like that
He can go end of season for me bollox to him

Rapha's Agent Deco [http://www.d20sports.com/en/] at end of Oct21 was insisting that the player was happy at his current club, though while he is not “in a hurry,” he admitted Raphinha “has ambitions to play at a higher level.”

“Raphinha is happy at Leeds and for sure the time will come to take the biggest leap in his career, to take a step forward,” he explained.

“He has a three-year contract, but it is not the contract that defines the length of stay or prevents transfers.

“Leeds are aware. They will want to make an important sale, and Raphinha will end up growing in his career.

“Raphinha has a market and Leeds have high expectations, it was never a project in a hurry.

“He has ambitions to play at a higher level despite Leeds being in the Premier League but this is not the time, things will happen naturally.”

Let's face it Leeds got him with 'conditions attached' & maybe signing James was for a reason. Leeds have been watching many wingers throughout this season also, again for a reason. Whether we can utilise our asset in Crysencio Summerville remains to be seen by JM now.
Whatever wingers require a forward target in the box to hit crosses to & with JM hopefully 2 up front will become the norm instead of the current 1 that we've tactically adhered to since the Chris Wood days.

Yes, I do think Rapha's exuberant flair & maverick style was technically shackled unlike his roles at Rennes & I've commented on that point many times as I work alongside many Rennes supporters in the Brittany region I live in who knew his full potential.

"2 up front".....And who would that be, before seasons end? Rodrigo? Our survey said "nah". Gelhardt? Our survey said "won't get played", Bamford? "Our survey said "three months with no game time, not enough matches left to get match fit". Not saying 2 up front isn't the right thing to do (in fact was saying that last season!), just that we don't have the personnel to do the job.

That said, we need him to stop sulking and get back on it if we are to have a hope of survival.
I disagree, you look at Saint-Maximin for Newcastle who has been in a dire team for ages but always grafts and trys to drag them out of it, they've just signed players and improved but for a long time they were hopeless and he was always a spark for them no matter what the siuation was. Mentality is everything and for me Raphinha doesn't have it, it might be frustrating but the top players use that to spur them on to do even more he has just gone into his shell and given up

Andrew Hughes- bang average footballer, 100% commitment every time.
Berardi- average, not quick- 100% everytime even when at centre back up against 6ft 4 strikers.

I think we miss likes of Berra, Pablo and Alioski who were proper full effort all game, every game.

Think our season may have been a lot different with Alioski.

Agree with you in principle, but not every player has the spirit of a St Maximin, and I repeat, when you're up there with Kane, Toney and Antonio in scoring goals for your side, seeing them ship 4,5 6,7 a match, every match, even a St Maximin might well have let his shoulders drop a bit

No "thinking" about it (and that goes for Hernandez too, even if his playing time was limited.)
