We lose 1 game and its all doom and gloom.

What's it going to be like next season in the championship work we lose nearly all off them

16-1 to now make the play offs. A very tempting bet.

I think what is making quite a few people nervous, and rightly so,is recent performance levels. Losing the odd game is no big deal and is to be expected but performances against Shrewsbury,Accrington at home,Sheffield Wednesday and Morecombe left a lot to be desired. Ironically our most accomplished performance recently was in the 1 - 1 draw with Wigan where in the 2nd half we looked more than comfortable.

We've lost one game in months and conceded hardly any goals, get a grip.

It will be unbearable on here next season if we do go up.

Or even worse to some if we don’t. Keep the faith I say, it’s not over yet.

It's the usual culprits that start the doom and gloom.

It's been a great season, we've broken all sorts of records. Credit to Wigan and MK sticking with us. I'd love to win the title, to give us another trophy. Other than that, I'm not too fussed at going up. We aren't good enough for that level, and nothing will change next season.

    Can we still go down.
    Is that a possibility?
I think the Cam-o-meter might have ruled that out though

my gut feel is we will bottle it and finish 3rd, but I hope to go we don't. Some say it isn't that big of a disaster, I disagree and i suspect that Warne and the players would think so too, you can infer from his interviews around the Wigan game the importance of finishing the excellent job they had done to that stage with automatic promotion. here are my reasons
    1. We bottled it in crucial games at this stage last year, we had to play 3 teams that were around us at home and we lost all 3, Birmingam, Coventry and Wycombe.
    2. previous two promotions were different, we weren't really in the running for a top 2 the first time and we went up in the mini-cup playoffs and the second the season never ended so we don't know how we deal with such pressure for winning critical league matches
    3. We are not in good form in terms of performances
    4. taking 1 point from two home games against our nearest rivals
    5. Lost two stikers and now rely on Smith to stay fit or not suspended and kayode who most admit isn't ready yet.
    6. We did the minimum we could in january transfer window, we took a risk regarding the front players, took on kelly who doesnt seem anywhere near ready and hoped Freddie would stay and play, we could have kept Sadlier who can play at number 10, we have been unlucky but it is always about risk assessment.
    7. The momentum is with MK Dons, momentum at this stage of the season is very important

These last 10 games (and the papa johns) are a huge test for warne as a manager and his supporting coaches, to see if they are capable of dealing with the growing pressure and leading this squad to glory, I hope he does it because I love this club and he deserves the success for the stability he has brought to us and what he has done so far this season, also I don't want to lose in the playoffs and have an even worse summer than I did when we lost to D&R, especially as failure to win promotion is likely to mean we lose more key players as we know 6 players are waiting to see what happens, a huge rebuild is never easy.

So I hope we win tonight to lift the team morale, that we get something at Wycombe and MK/Wigan draw, we win the next 2 home games meaning that we will enter the last 6 games in a top two place no matter what happens at Sunderland. We are capable so lets get behind the team and manager at the games
