Wonder if the Chelski freeze makes this more likely. At some point, every one of that squad must be totally unsettled and on the blower to their agents to get them the hell out of Chelsea; probably striking pre-contract agreements (for whatever they're worth) BEFORE the window opens.
The longer their assets are frozen, they less defence they have against side approaches; especially for Out of Contract players.
Beeb says;
They are also unable to negotiate new contracts for the players they currently own, so leaves an uncertain future for those whose current deals expire in the summer.

Judging who the owner is and your modern footballer, I’d go for 1.
I'm guessing with a wage bill of about 30 million a month austerity might kick in very quickly
Ashley to put a cheeky bid in and install Partridge or Brucey baby would be hilarious.
Well, in order for us to move up the ladder, some people at the top of that ladder need to hit a snake and slide down to reality.
Chelsea has had it good for a long time. So have Man You. I'm hoping we can keep our as'ses top half next season and, depending on the type of window we have (spectacular vs safe), mix it up a little.
Chelsea might be in turmoil but they won't go far because they have built a global brand as part of their "project". When Roman can sell and get access to the sale money, people will be queuing up with billions. So while their fans might be crying now and some galacticos might bail, can't see Chelsea being kept down for multiple years.
It will take a long, long time for this situation to blow over and come to a conclusion once the repercussions are sorted out. Until then Chelski, or the former Chelski club will be in a bit of turmoil and there could be a lot of bargains on the market.
Haven't the got dozens of potential stars out on loan to lesser clubs because their situations will need to be ratified as well as the players at Chelsea.
He's ok...but he's nee Dan Burn, like.
