Never been an OK Jack type of person so if limiting China manufacturing for world peace - then would take that Mick!

There’s always other markets or something new on the horizon but at my age - just want to enjoy life now so reducing all business activities anyway. Don’t want to be another Mr Hayes ( silly old t wat )

China have had their day in my view and what with rocketing container prices it’s not that cheap anymore and it’s still tat with gloss!

Few more leaving the Russian TV...

    BBC reporting......
    Russian TV journalist resigns....

A prominent journalist working for a Kremlin-controlled TV station has resigned in the wake of the on-screen protest by Channel One journalist Marina Ovsyannikova.

Vadim Glusker, NTV's Brussels correspondent, has been confirmed to have resigned by the state news agency RIA Novosti.

NTV told RIA Novosti that Glusker stopped working for it "in early March" and that his decision was "to do with health reasons". NTV is Russia's third most popular TV station and is owned by gas giant Gazprom and is firmly pro-Kremlin.

There are also reports that Zhanna Agalakova, Channel One's correspondent in Paris, has resigned - but these have not been confirmed.

Earlier, we brought you reports that a news presenter from NTV had resigned and left the country.

Seems like this woman was fined £200 ... a slap on the wrist all things considered. But I guess the Kremlin had to be careful ... throw her in jail for 15 years would be an international outrage. But a slap on the wrist fine may encourage others ... will be interesting to see how this plays out ..

According to the news just now, it seems that further charges may be laid against her in the near future, charges that may well incur a holiday in a Russian jail. Delicate situation though, governments that upset their journalists and media organisations risk losing their propaganda mouthpieces altogether. If pressure on Putred is to grow from within, then this could be the source. Let’s hope so.

Also, just so we don’t forget, FOL

You wouldn’t want to be her though on a dark night - bag over the head - lead pipe bashing her head in and then disappears!
