If you look at where Russia have typically used their financial influence it is in the Far Left and Far Right. Its why Le Pen and Orban in Europe, and the Venezuelans and Cuban governing parties are probably in receipt of Russian money right now. Its probably why neither Corbyn or Farage have criticised Putin's actions and have instead shifted blame onto NATO. It wouldn't surprise me if pro Brexit groups received plenty of Russian money, it was certainly in Russia's interest for us to leave the EU in order to weaken it.

If the Russian people ever wake up to what is happening, and force regime change, it won't just be Russia who benefits. It will be many countries throughout the world whose shady Governments they're propping up.

That’s the point - the Russian people will not be allowed to wake up. Take Abromovich - he will know the truth and what Putin stands for but won’t want to risk his wealth or be silenced! That’s why he’s a t wat and should do one if he wants to enter the U.K. again!

What I despise though is countries like China who want it both ways - trillions worth of dollars from the West and then cozying up to Putin!

I was speaking to a Ukrainian I work with who was saying the Russian army if full of uneducated people from Russia who have been fed propaganda their entire lives and don’t know the truth about anything

This I guess is the only way to explain how such atrocities can be perpetrated

My mind is blown by how this could happen in this day and age, just unbelievable and so sad for Ukraine
Agree with Al that assets should be frozen and paid to Ukraine for the rebuild

Fact is I don’t see any politicians that I would call statesman these days.
Worldwide somehow there appears to be a collective malaise when nations choose their leaders.
The point about the extremes of both sides is valid they are closer than apart in some ways.
I don’t like stereotyping but I will … their choices are typically French

The problem for us is that literally NONE of the political options in France have any time for the U.K.

Macron is a fraud though, an absolute lightweight.
Agree Mick, French politics makes ours look like a well oiled machine!

    Politics is dead....long live corruption...
Been dead for some time......pandemic was the final trigger point....
Full of dregs and dead wood...like Albion midfield....no creativity.....

When the vaccine was been rolled out....big pharma got you to sign a form to say they were not responsible for any side effects....
The Government when granting the license said they would not be responsible either for any side effects so you had to seek medical and legal advice before been jabbed......
So these two corrupt organizations were not responsible for any adverse effects from the vaccine....yet if I chose not to get vaccinated....I am been irresponsible....you couldn't make this shyte up....
If you are playing the game .....whose government is better then whose????
Forget it they are all similar....greed led and not people led...someone said Zelensky is the only statesman today....only cause the war unites...(UK PM won't resign because of war) He never took the threat seriously as he believed like the rest of us...it wouldn't happen again in 2022......and so he hadn't got the type of logistics in place for a Crimea part two......
    anyway....

Good post Dubs and agree! Zelensky puts them all to shame. Macron refuses to use the word Genocide - perhaps a visit to Bucha for him and his family to see those chucked in shallow graves with gun holes in the back of their heads and school girls pregnant!

Macron is a c unt and Le Pen is even worse so perhaps she should go and talk to those Ukrainian girls who were gang raped!

Is this filthy b itch still breathing as was hoping she had died? No more ammunition to Ukraine she warns and if she gets in power she will pull France out of military command for NATO!

Why does she not take a trip to Mariupol and mix with Ukrainian women? Then see if her Russian chums are nice to her!

Horrible nasty b itch!! Pure evil like her father! Makes you wonder what kind of country France is when people vote for her!!!

Talking of France - what’s been there contribution to Ukraine? Poor Germany too - their natural gas - oh my heart bleeds!
