Read an article forget when about the under 23s and how they have been affected by the BS from the first team.
They questioned Players being held over even when they don't play and also questioned what is the point of not playing JG Summerville so on when they asked why aren't they playing in the first team in JG case when we don't have a striker and reply was he isn't fit. Even with this break the under 23s had a game which we lost while these under 23s were nowhere to be seen how on earth can they get fit or even if they stay game fit when they are not playing.
My Ozzie rules team played Last Sat afternoon and the emergency sub played like 10 minutes the next day he played a full game for the reserves and was the best on the ground.

It's set to be a record u23 crowd, over 18000 tickets now sold

Well, shame the crowd didn't get to enjoy a win apparently we were all over the city and their keeper should have been sent off. What's the point of home support when idiots in black make decisions like that. We don't look anywhere near the side of the first 5 weeks when we were smashing everyone. If we go down it will be because they keep holding back the good players and if the firsts go down also well F me.

Yeah, also the old cliche no matter how well the team plays it's the result that counts. So many times you see a team batter another and come out empty. But that keeper tackle was so clear even blind Tichi could have seen it.

Yup but those decisions sometimes go against you. Against a talented City team we should have won which in itself is quite a thing given how they hover up talent

Tell me about it. 1st team down, U23s down, U18s 1 point behind yours but with a game in hand, both sides safe though.

Morris's excessive spending has seen us hit with embargoes that severely limited transfers (rightly so but a tad harshly IMO). Since January 2021 we've had some 35 players out and 6 in. No transfer or loan fees paid, limited squad size, wages cap. We've had the U23s being the mainstays, in numbers at any rate, of the 1st XI, U18s the mainstay of the U23s, U16/17s being the mainstay of the U18s. All things considered, we've not done that badly this season despite the 2 relegations. Hopefully the 18s will consolidate next season and the 1st and 23s can have good seasons.

At least it looks like I will have a club to support next season. Those of you around in the ravaged by Ridsdale days will appreciate what a good feeling that is. Much preferable to the other possibility.
