I've seen West Brom fans on Twitter defending him, with one commenting that he wouldn't take anything we said about Bruce seriously as we didn't like him because he wasn't Rafa.

Because aye, that was why we didn't like him. It's why we don't like Howe.

    No, wait...

The best West Brom can hope for is that they have such a bad run that the board get rid in the Summer but, unfortunately for the Baggies, I suspect he'll still be in charge next season.

Evening Zippity - our CEO is Gourlay who was at Chelsea and Reading and he hired Bruce and honestly think Bruce will be around next season as it will be stitched up. It's clear Bruce has made the team worse if that were possible and the players have no heart - no desire - no fight! Bruce loves Livermore and Mowatt and both are slow and have zero creativity.

I honestly think if Bruce stays around we will be fighting relegation next season as 90% of the players have lengthy contracts as someone with a white stick does our recruitment. The best player for effort is Any Carroll and whilst he's past it - he's about the only one who gives 100%. Not one of our players is decent including Johnstone the keeper who is leaving as he's crap commanding his area!

Longstaff seems to be linked with Bruce so don't know if this is paper talk? Would he be any good in the championship? Does he have pace and creativity?

Any chance of taking Gayle again?

Made me laugh the statement WBA put out when they hired Bruce praising his "excellent tactical nous" His tactics under us were kick the ball to Maxi and that's about it

Quite ironic, given that he himself said he 'didn't do tactics'.

Carroll is only on a contract till end of the season I believe for you though?

So could well lose him to.

Longstaff I think will be kept by Howe, if he goes, it will be late in the window and I suspect on initial loan rather than sale.

If you play like you have been doing, then sadly, I agree you'll be fighting relegation.

    Really hope you're not though.

Gayle was brilliant for us and still would do a great job in the championship. I would be astute though and insert a clause on pay for games to cover injury. We are good at signing injury crocs - lazy t wats - useless
t wats and giving out lengthy contracts!

How Bruce’s son is on our payroll too beggars believe! Wouldn’t surprise me if Mrs Bruce has a contract too!!
