Gallagher didn’t play as it was Chelsea.

Shows how far we have fallen in 12 months. Only four of those players are not here now ... and we could have easily got Diagne and Yokoslu. Pereira might have stayed for the money. And Maintland-Niles was replaceable. How quickly treasure turned to S***.

Although I love beating the Chelski scum on any occasion it happens that 2 - 5 was a freak result against team that was winning until one of their defenders was sent off (we all saw what losing a player does to a team against Forest).

Furthermore, minus the players we have lost out of it that were on loan and our team is still the same one minus MP that limped over the line to promotion nearly 2 years ago.

They are just even worse now because they older and slower.

You always see how good your players are when you go down as other prem teams try to poach them. No one tried to sign any of our relegated team other than the tenuous rumours surrounding Ajayi to Norwich and Johnston to West Ham.

Good point although how can there be a financial constraint when we paid embarrassing money for Zohore over 4 years - 30 million for Grant and Diangana when in truth 5 million would have been too much - keep players who are completely past it like Livermore and the injury croc Phillips and even offer new contracts - lengthy contracts for Robinson and Bartley who are useless. Whoever sanctioned the Burke transfer should be locked up
