I hope he can makes a full recovery, as like you say, a thoroughly honest hard working footballer, who has given his all for Leeds in whatever position he has been asked to play in, will be sorely missed until his hopeful return.
Superstitious nonesense. We have (and always have had), the opportunity to make our way in football, just like every other club the world over. We don't owe our fortune or misfortune to curses, the weather, the referrees, the pitch, or anything else that is beyond our ability to control and that applies just as much to LUFC as any other club. We (or more accurately, the club's management, top to bottom, and the players) hold our future, and it's long beyond time that we stopped making excuses for failures that we could and should have avoided.
Don't know about things and don't believe them till you experience them. Grandma was in Hospital in a bad way mum and cousins were by her bedside. I was down in the shed cleaning and feeding the greyhounds, My white Australian parrot yelled 2 times Peter Peter and I immediately went upstairs the phone rang and was my mum and she said Peter I said I know mum gran passed away. She said how do you know and I said my parrot told me and she said what did he say I said yelled out my name 2 times and she started crying and said that was her last 2 words.
Or the time I was recovering in the hospital in 2016 after my heart attack was in Nov. My Ozzie rules team finished last on the ladder and after 37 long years of being crap, I had a dream we won the premiership in 2017. I told a lot of people and they all laughed at me but guess what they did.
So if you believe in something believe it as others will rubbish it makes fun even call you crazy but till one experiences something it's hard for them to believe as was the case with me.
Not denying coincidence Oz, simply saying that for a club of long standing and with a proud history of succeeding despite the odds, we seem determined to find an external reason when things don't go right (and I suspect that applies to all involved, fans, staff, owners etc etc). clubs have faced much greater catastrophes than anything to have hit Leeds (The Bradford stadium fire, Heyselt, Hillsborough), and I for one haven't heard their fans or their club management seeking to blame some gypsy curse! They and other disasters (major and minor) all had explanation, all resulted in lessons being learned not some supplication to the spirit world in the hope that redemption will be given.
We ALL know we are not the authorities favourite team, and we should deal with it by not giving excuses for them to hand out punishment. We ALL know that we should have invested in a decent pitch when ER turned into a quagmire (ahead of the new season, not half way through!) instead of opting for the cheap option and buying the Spurs cast-off as a knee jerk reaction to external criticism. We ALL know that investment in the 1st team has been poorly directed and overall too little, Gypsy Rose Lee or anyone else wouldn't/couldn't change that. All examples where many have asked "why us", when the answer is plain as the nose on your face, because we didn't do what was required, when it was required.
Just like the relegation battle, we can do some things and others we have to see how the dice roll, but whichever way they fall, I for one won't be looking for some cackling old crone (unless of course Bates is still about and takes to fancy dress!), if it's not to be our day.

Not arguing with all that we know about how the club has been run for years. But that cursed thing if it's there or not can't be true as we won titles after. A club here had a curse put on them by an aboriginal and they are the most successful club over here. They went without any success for nearly 40 years after that. They brought in another to lift that curse and they won the premiership soon after. Coincidence or not who knows.
What has any of this got to do with Stuart Dallas?
I would like to wish him well and hope that he makes a full recovery. He has been one of our stand out performers for several years now.
I couldn't give a flying fcuk about Mystic Meg and the Harbingers of Doom.
