Mk looked very a much a team that put every ounce of effort into getting an automatic place….different kind of game the play offs and Wycombe”s experience showed…mk was even time wasting near the end so they didn’t get a third….wycombe now 2-0 will adopt the full dark arts stuff in second leg now…

Agree clarkey got to fancy wycombe now. Shutting up.shop by fait means or foul is what they are good at. That 2nd goal may very well be a killer. The lad who got sent off has let mk down with his first unecessary booking.

From the 30 mins mark it was men against boys, just like the average age stats suggested, I think MK will find it very difficult to come back from this defeat, and although they most definitely have the quality to do so, Wycombe will relish the challenge and I would expect them to go through. Well done Wycombe. It certainly surprised a few, me included. If MK thought that was tough, then wait for the return game when the Pandora's is opened.............

Shouldn't have really since they hadn't conceded a goal at home for 6 games.

Wycombe are the masters of closing down a game - remind me of old fashioned Italian sides - one goal up and then it was like the footballing version of slowly being bled dry - can see Wycombe joining us in the C'ship if they do what they do so well in the next leg and beyond that

I recorded the game and have just watched it back.

Excellent performance from Wycombe and I don’t see them throwing this away.

Also, isn't it strange how much less stressful it is when you are watching other teams?

In all fairness Wycombe shouldn't have been relegated last season. If they managed to get back up at first attempt it would be a kind of justice. That said MK Dons were so close to automatic it would be tough on them. Thank heavens we excaped the lottery.

Yup, it'll be a sweet irony if they replace Derby in the C'ship.
