I know why our very old fans prefer the narrow stripes that hark back to the 60’s.

For me the iconic strip was the Umbro one with the wider stripes we wore in the mid to late 70’s.

I’d prefer to see a modern twist on that design with the white shorts and white socks with navy trim.

I’d also like to see navy shorts and navy socks with white trim as an occasional use option with the home shirt for certain away matches like we used in the 70’s.
Forgot about the 'Spurs' kit of 14/15 as well!
The away kit would generally be the wider panelled yellow and green kit with green shorts to mirror the late 70’s kit.

Although it was an iconic day, whoever decided pale blue shorts went with the yellow and green shirt in 75-76 needs leading to Specsavers!

If I'm correct, didn't we have that strip in the 18/19 season. Actually, I quite liked it. Mind you, I'd prefer any strip as opposed to the 'bar code' strip and the one we wore this season.
